Skin Exhibition in London
At Pai we love all things skin…so I was excited to read about the latest exhibition at the Wellcome Collection in London.
‘Skin’ is dedicated entirely to our largest and often most over-looked organ.
The exhibition is split into different sections and spans:
- skin from the anatomist’s perspective – views from 16th century to the present day.
- skin from the individual’s perspective – how our scars, wrinkles and even tattoos document our life story and personal passage of time.
- skin from the sensory pespective – how it is a unique organ of touch.
- skinlab – a look at cutting-edge research and technological developments in skin science.
The whole Pai team will be visiting the exhibition at the beginning of next month – so hope to see you there! It runs until 26th September and is completely FREE so don’t miss out.
For those of you not familiar with the Wellcome Collection, it’s a brilliant centre dedicated to the world of medicine and its role in society.
It describes itself as the “free destination for the incurably curious”. Just brilliant!
